In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens topped the New Orleans Saints with a commanding 37-14 victory. This win not only boosts the Ravens' confidence early in the season but also sets a tone for their offensive firepower as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the league. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer, showcasing his dual-threat ability with 334 passing yards and three touchdown throws. Meanwhile, Christian Watson had a spectacular day receiving, racking up 192 yards and finding the end zone, making it a challenging scenario for the Saints' defense. Jahmyr Gibbs kept the Saints competitive on the ground with 127 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to match the Ravens’ offensive explosion. Defensively, the Ravens were relentless, highlighted by Brian Burns' two sacks and Akeem Davis-Gaither's five total tackles, which kept pressure on the Saints throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Riley Moss intercepted a pass, swinging momentum firmly in Baltimore's favor. The Ravens' defense stifled any comeback attempts, ensuring their victory was never in doubt.
