In a decisive Week 12 matchup, the Tennessee Titans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a score of 35-14, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The Titans showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, effectively controlling the game and limiting the Jaguars' offensive threats. On the offensive front, Nick Singleton was the star of the day, rushing for an impressive 261 yards and finding the end zone, which fueled the Titans' offensive momentum. Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars managed to throw for 129 yards and a touchdown, but his efforts weren't enough to keep pace with Tennessee's explosive ground game. Meanwhile, Brian Thomas Jr. led the receiving corps for Jacksonville with 99 yards, but the Jaguars struggled to find consistency. Defensively, the Titans put forth a strong performance, highlighted by Jeffery Simmons' 1.5 sacks, which disrupted Jacksonville's passing game. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Titans' defense stifled a promising Jaguars drive, forcing a turnover that allowed Tennessee to extend their lead. Caleb Ransaw's four tackles for Jacksonville, while commendable, were not enough to mitigate the Titans' relentless attack, sealing the game in their favor.
