In a dominant display, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 42-7 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This victory not only showcases the Patriots' offensive firepower but also sets the tone for their campaign moving forward, while the Jaguars will need to regroup after a disheartening defeat. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the charge against Jacksonville's defense. Hunter Henry was his top target, racking up an impressive 147 receiving yards, while Derrick Henry contributed on the ground with 39 rushing yards. The offensive execution from the Patriots was methodical, leaving little room for a Jaguars response. Defensively, the Patriots also made their mark, highlighted by Dell Pettus's interception, which shifted momentum early in the game. Gabe Jacas led the team in tackles, providing a solid presence throughout the contest. The turning point came when Maye connected with Henry for a touchdown that extended the Patriots' lead to 21-0, effectively sealing the game before halftime and leaving the Jaguars scrambling for answers.
