In a dominating performance, the New England Patriots topped the Detroit Lions 34-6 in Week 10 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The Patriots' offense came to play, showcasing their prowess against a struggling Lions defense. J.J. McCarthy led the charge with an impressive 327 passing yards and four touchdown passes, proving instrumental in the Patriots' offensive onslaught. Blake Corum was his favorite target, racking up 180 receiving yards and creating mismatches all game long. Despite the scoreline, Saquon Barkley was a lone bright spot for Detroit, managing just 35 rushing yards but showing flashes of his potential. On the defensive side, the Patriots stifled the Lions throughout the contest, with Talanoa Hufanga leading the way with five total tackles. The turning point came in the second quarter when McCarthy connected with Corum for a deep touchdown, shifting the momentum firmly in New England's favor. Detroit's defense struggled to contain the Patriots' high-octane offense, resulting in a lopsided score that reflected their inability to make crucial stops.
