In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Kansas City Chiefs 27-14, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the Seahawks showcased their strength on both sides of the ball, earning a key victory at home. Seahawks quarterback Taylen Green was the standout performer, throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating precision and poise throughout the game. Jonathon Brooks complemented the passing attack with a solid ground game, racking up 84 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Wan'Dale Robinson of the Chiefs put up an impressive 170 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Seattle's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Seahawks made significant contributions, particularly through Maxwell Hairston, who intercepted two passes, shifting momentum in Seattle's favor. The game's turning point came late in the first half when Hairston’s second interception set up a touchdown that extended the Seahawks' lead to two scores. With VJ Payne contributing a sack, Seattle's defense effectively stifled Kansas City's attempts to mount a comeback, sealing the win.
