The Cleveland Browns secured a 29-17 victory over the New York Jets in Week 5 of the 2026 season, maintaining their momentum in the playoff race. With both teams vying for critical positioning, the Browns showcased their resilience on the road against a determined Jets squad. On the offensive side, Bo Nix led the Jets with 252 passing yards and a touchdown, demonstrating his ability to move the ball through the air. Chase Brown added a solid ground game with 77 rushing yards, while Dalton Kincaid emerged as a key target with 104 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Browns' balanced attack. Defensively, Kamren Kinchens of the Browns stood out with seven total tackles, anchoring a unit that effectively contained the Jets' offensive threats. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Browns' defense stifled a late Jets drive, allowing Cleveland to maintain control and secure the win. Despite a strong performance from David Bailey, who logged 1.5 sacks for the Jets, Cleveland's defense ultimately proved too tough to crack.
