In a closely contested matchup, the Los Angeles Chargers narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 20-17 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. The victory not only keeps the Chargers in the playoff hunt but also highlights their resilience on the road against a tough opponent. Brock Purdy was the standout performer for Los Angeles, throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns. His connection with Elijah Higgins proved pivotal, as Higgins led the receiving corps with 95 yards. Meanwhile, Taylen Green kept the Seahawks competitive on the ground, racking up 83 rushing yards in a valiant effort. Defensively, Rueben Bain Jr. was a force for the Chargers, totaling four tackles and recording two sacks, which disrupted Seattle's offensive rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Bain's pressure led to a critical incompletion, allowing the Chargers to maintain their slim lead and ultimately secure the win. Ephesians Prysock's interception for Seattle added drama, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome.
