The Indianapolis Colts held off the New York Jets with a final score of 24-19 in a tightly contested Week 3 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for an early edge in the standings, the Colts emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and strategic defensive plays. Quarterback Jordan Love led the Colts' offensive charge, throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns, a performance that proved pivotal in securing the win. TreVeyon Henderson complemented Love's efforts on the ground with 76 rushing yards, while Odell Beckham Jr. was a reliable target, racking up 83 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the team's scoring drives. Defensively, the Colts were impactful, with Jonathan Greenard recording a sack and Kamren Kinchens grabbing an interception that shifted momentum in the second half. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Kinchens' interception halted a promising Jets drive, allowing Indianapolis to maintain their lead and ultimately seal the game. Cody Barton of the Jets posted a strong defensive performance with eight total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Colts' balanced attack.
