In a thrilling Week 13 matchup, the Washington Commanders took down the Dallas Cowboys with a decisive final score of 62-42. Both teams were vying for playoff positioning, but it was the Commanders who emerged victorious, solidifying their standing in the league. Offensively, Jahmyr Gibbs was the standout performer for Washington, racking up an incredible 456 rushing yards and contributing significantly to the team's high-scoring output. Jayden Daniels of the Cowboys also put on a show, throwing for 354 yards and two touchdowns, while Alexander Gettaway showcased his receiving skills with 227 yards, but it ultimately wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Commanders’ explosive offense. Defensively, the Commanders made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Ronnie Hickman led the way with four total tackles, but it was Radio Shaffer's 1.5 sacks that proved critical in disrupting the Cowboys' rhythm. The turning point came late in the second half when Washington's defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing their offense to extend the lead and secure the victory.
