Marshall Faulk complemented the aerial attack with a dominant ground game, racking up 105 rushing yards, while Lance Alworth contributed significantly with 67 receiving yards. The Saints' offense consistently found ways to exploit the Falcons' defense, resulting in an overwhelming scoreline. Defensively, the Saints were solid, limiting the Falcons to just eight points. The standout moment came when Jourdan Lewis intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and shifting the momentum firmly in the Saints' favor.
