In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 29-17, solidifying their position early in the 2026 season. The win was crucial for the Broncos as they seek to establish dominance in their division while the Rams look to rebound from this setback. Jahmyr Gibbs was the star of the show for Denver, racking up an impressive 263 rushing yards that kept the Rams' defense on their heels throughout the game. Quarterback Drew Brees had a modest outing for Los Angeles, completing only 119 passing yards and throwing one touchdown, while KC Concepcion Jr. led the receiving corps with 45 yards. However, it was Gibbs' explosive performance that truly drove the Broncos' offensive success. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with a standout performance from Keionte Scott, who picked off two passes, and Will Anderson Jr., who recorded a key sack. The turning point came when Scott's second interception shifted momentum late in the game, allowing Denver to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. The Rams struggled to contain the Broncos' ground game, which was instrumental in their defeat.
