The most physical coverage defenders prevent catches from happening even when their target has hands on the ball. When they enter the zone, they are nearly guaranteed knockouts.
SilverDeep Out Zone KO
OVR 75+Defenders with this ability have a slightly improved chance to force catch knockouts and react quicker in deep zone coverage, 20+ yards from the LoS and outside the hash marks. Upgrades with ZCV, SPD, and AWR.
GoldMid Zone KO
OVR 80+Defenders with this ability have a greatly improved chance to force catch knockouts, a longer knockout window, and react quicker in any mid-field zone coverage, less than 20 yards from the LoS inside the numbers and 10-20 outside. Upgrades with ZCV, PRC, and AWR.
Menace
OVR 85+Defenders with this ability play more powerful catch tackles that force slightly increased knockouts and fatigue penalties on Perfect catch tackles. Upgrades with TAK, ZCV, and POW.
GoldOne Step Ahead
OVR 95+Defenders with this ability have a slightly increased chance to react much faster to receiver cut moves when in man coverage. Upgrades with MCV, COD, and PRC.
