The Tampa Bay Buccaneers triumphed over the Minnesota Vikings with a commanding final score of 39-10 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Buccaneers' strong start to the year, while the Vikings struggle to find their footing. Both teams came into the game looking to establish momentum, but Tampa Bay clearly seized the opportunity. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers' offense with 126 passing yards and a touchdown, showcasing efficiency in the air. However, it was Bucky Irving's explosive ground game that stole the show, amassing 109 rushing yards and consistently putting pressure on the Vikings' defense. The Buccaneers' balanced attack kept Minnesota on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Buccaneers made critical plays that shifted the game's momentum. Yaya Diaby recorded a sack, disrupting Mayfield's counterpart and forcing critical mistakes, while Benjamin Morrison's interception sealed the deal for Tampa Bay. With the Vikings unable to respond effectively, the Buccaneers' defense played a pivotal role in this decisive win.
