In a thrilling matchup in Week 2 of the 2027 season, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 44-41. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish early momentum in the season, making this contest a pivotal moment for each franchise. Trevor Lawrence showcased an impressive performance, throwing for 534 yards and five touchdowns, establishing himself as a formidable force in the air. However, it was Kenneth Walker's ground game that proved vital for Seattle, as he racked up 126 rushing yards, giving the Seahawks a balanced offensive attack. Meanwhile, Matthew Golden emerged as Lawrence's go-to target, amassing 237 receiving yards, but it ultimately wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made critical plays at key moments, most notably through Ty Okada, who intercepted two passes, halting Jacksonville's momentum. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Okada's second interception set up a crucial touchdown drive for Seattle, allowing the home team to hold off a late surge from the Jaguars. With both teams displaying offensive firepower, it was Seattle's defensive stands that ultimately sealed the victory.
