The New England Patriots dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers in a decisive 56-14 victory, solidifying their strong start to the 2027 season. With this win, the Patriots improve their record and send a clear message to the league about their championship aspirations. Drake Maye was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 436 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm talent and decision-making throughout the game. Meanwhile, Kyle Williams emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 256 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to exploit the Steelers' secondary. Darnell Crockett was the lone bright spot for Pittsburgh, rushing for 109 yards, but his efforts were overshadowed by New England's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Patriots were equally impressive, with Percy Butler leading the charge with six total tackles and adding an interception to his stat line. DJ Johnson made his presence felt, recording two sacks that disrupted the Steelers' rhythm at critical moments. The turning point came early in the second half, when Butler's interception set up another quick touchdown for New England, effectively sealing Pittsburgh's fate and leaving them unable to respond.
