The Minnesota Vikings outlasted the Chicago Bears with a thrilling 37-31 victory in Week 7 of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to bolster their playoff aspirations, but it was the Vikings who emerged triumphant in this high-stakes matchup. J.J. McCarthy was the standout performer for Minnesota, throwing for an impressive 335 yards and helping to orchestrate the offense effectively. Meanwhile, Chicago's Caleb Williams kept the Bears competitive with three touchdown passes, but the Vikings' offense, led by Jordan Addison's 103 receiving yards and Demond Claiborne's steady ground game, proved to be too much to handle. Defensively, the Vikings made key plays when it mattered most, including a pivotal sack by Caleb Banks that disrupted Chicago's momentum late in the game. The Bears' Jaylon Johnson recorded nine tackles but could not stem the tide as Minnesota capitalized on their opportunities. Ultimately, it was a late defensive stand that sealed the win for the Vikings, ensuring they walked away with the victory.
