The Detroit Lions topped the Las Vegas Raiders 24-7 in a decisive Week 7 matchup, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the Lions showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, proving to be a formidable opponent at home. Joe Milton led the way for Detroit’s offense, throwing for one touchdown and managing the game effectively. Jahmyr Gibbs added a strong ground presence with 72 rushing yards, while Jameson Williams was a key target in the passing game, racking up 119 receiving yards. Fernando Mendoza of the Raiders put up impressive numbers with 252 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Lions were relentless, with Manu Cruz making a significant impact by recording three sacks and three total tackles. The turning point came when Nate Wiggins intercepted a pass, halting a Raiders drive and allowing the Lions to maintain momentum. Detroit's defense suffocated Las Vegas throughout the game, limiting their scoring opportunities and sealing the victory.
