In a commanding performance, the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Baltimore Ravens 42-17 in Week 9 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Raiders solidify their position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess against a struggling Ravens team. Leading the charge for the Raiders was quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who threw for an impressive 430 yards and six touchdowns, marking a standout performance this season. He connected frequently with wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr., who racked up 226 receiving yards, creating a dynamic duo that the Ravens could not contain. Meanwhile, Jaydon Blue led the Ravens' ground game with 69 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Raiders' explosive offense. Defensively, the Raiders were equally impressive, with Treydan Stukes leading the team with six total tackles. The game’s turning point came when Xavier McKinney intercepted two passes, turning the momentum firmly in Las Vegas' favor. Channing Hall contributed with a key sack, further pressuring the Ravens and limiting their scoring opportunities, sealing a dominant victory for the Raiders.
