In a decisive Week 13 matchup, the Detroit Lions topped the Green Bay Packers 35-21, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season draws to a close. The Lions' offense showcased its prowess, delivering a commanding performance that left Green Bay struggling to keep pace. Detroit's Joe Milton threw for 221 yards and played a pivotal role in orchestrating the Lions' offensive attack, while Jahmyr Gibbs contributed significantly on the ground with 94 rushing yards. Xavier Worthy was the standout receiver, racking up an impressive 166 yards and creating mismatches throughout the game. Jordan Love of the Packers kept his team competitive with three touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome. Defensively, the Lions made crucial stops, highlighted by Jermod McCoy's interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The game turned when McCoy's pick set up a quick scoring drive for Detroit, extending their lead and putting additional pressure on the Packers. Despite a solid defensive effort from Green Bay, led by Kelee Ringo's four tackles and Mike Green's sack, they couldn't overcome the Lions' offensive firepower.
