In a stunning display of dominance, the Detroit Lions crushed the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 70-7 in Week 15 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Lions showed no mercy, securing their position as contenders with this commanding victory. Quarterback Joe Milton led the charge for Detroit, racking up an impressive 477 passing yards and throwing five touchdown passes. He connected frequently with wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who tallied an astounding 253 receiving yards, proving to be a nightmare for the Rams' secondary. Meanwhile, Blake Corum was the lone bright spot for Los Angeles, managing 76 rushing yards in a largely ineffective offensive effort. Defensively, the Lions were relentless, with Derrick Moore wreaking havoc on the Rams' offensive line, recording 3.5 sacks. The turning point came in the second quarter when Zemaiah Vaughn intercepted a pass, setting off a chain reaction that led to multiple scoring drives and effectively put the game out of reach. Myles Garrett's four tackles for Los Angeles were commendable, but they were no match for the overwhelming force of the Lions' defense.
