In a dominant performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the New York Jets 27-6 in Week 15 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Chiefs solidified their postseason positioning while the Jets struggled to find their rhythm on both sides of the ball. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite skills, throwing for 255 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Chiefs' offense with precision. He connected with Jeff Caldwell, who racked up 104 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target throughout the game. The Chiefs’ rushing attack was steady, but it was their aerial assault that truly set the tone for the victory. Defensively, the Chiefs were relentless, highlighted by Bud Clark's six total tackles, which helped stymie the Jets' offensive efforts. The turning point came early in the third quarter when Mahomes threw a touchdown pass that extended the Chiefs' lead to 21-6, leaving the Jets scrambling to keep up. Despite a strong defensive effort from Matias Jimenez and Dane Belton, the Jets' inability to contain Mahomes ultimately sealed their fate.
