In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints topped the Tennessee Titans 61-14 in Week 16 of the 2027 season. The Saints showcased their offensive might, further solidifying their playoff aspirations while the Titans struggled to keep pace throughout the game. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 274 yards and four touchdowns, effectively distributing the ball to his playmakers. Bryce Lance was a standout receiver, racking up 103 yards, while Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed significantly on the ground with 85 rushing yards. This offensive explosion allowed the Saints to build a comfortable lead early and maintain control throughout the contest. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, highlighted by Oluwafemi Oladejo, who recorded two sacks, and Darrick Forrest, who snagged two interceptions. Their ability to pressure the Titans' offense and generate turnovers was pivotal, particularly in the second quarter when Forrest’s second interception set up another quick touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach. With a balanced attack on both sides of the ball, the Saints demonstrated why they are a force to be reckoned with as the postseason approaches.
