In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding 41-21 victory, securing their spot in the playoffs. The stakes were high as both teams looked to solidify their postseason positioning, but it was the Texans who emerged victorious. C.J. Stroud led a potent Houston offense, throwing for three touchdowns and keeping the chains moving throughout the game. Meanwhile, Matthew Barton dominated on the ground, racking up 142 rushing yards and consistently finding openings in the Colts' defense. The combination of a strong aerial attack and a powerful ground game proved too much for Indianapolis to handle. On the defensive side, the Texans made pivotal plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Calen Bullock's two interceptions were game-changers, halting potential scoring drives from the Colts and allowing Houston to capitalize on the ensuing possessions. Lewis Cine anchored the defense with five total tackles, contributing to a performance that kept the Colts at bay and solidified the Texans' playoff aspirations.
