In a thrilling Divisional Round matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars hold off the New York Jets with a final score of 28-21, securing their place in the next round of the playoffs. Both teams fought hard, but the Jaguars' performance proved to be just enough to advance in the 2027 season. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the game for Jacksonville, throwing for 255 yards and three touchdown passes. His ability to connect with key receivers, including Bhayshul Tuten, who logged 62 receiving yards, showcased the Jaguars' potent aerial attack. Meanwhile, Breece Hall led the ground game for New York with 107 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Jacksonville's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Jaguars made crucial plays that shaped the outcome. Micah Parsons stood out with two sacks, applying constant pressure on the Jets' quarterback and disrupting their rhythm. Additionally, Caleb Ransaw's six tackles helped stifle New York's drives, particularly during a pivotal moment in the second half when the Jaguars managed to stop a potential game-tying score.
