In a commanding performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Dallas Cowboys 45-22 in Week 16 of the 2026 season, securing a crucial victory that solidifies their playoff aspirations. With the stakes high, the Jaguars delivered an offensive showcase that kept the Cowboys at bay throughout the game. Leading the charge for Jacksonville was running back Bhayshul Tuten, who racked up 109 rushing yards, consistently finding gaps in the Dallas defense. On the other side, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns, with CeeDee Lamb emerging as his primary target, amassing an impressive 213 receiving yards. Their efforts, however, were not enough to overcome the Jaguars' offensive firepower. Defensively, Jacksonville made key plays that turned the tide in their favor, with Travon Walker contributing significantly with 1.5 sacks. The turning point came when Jourdan Lewis intercepted a Prescott pass, snuffing out a critical Cowboys drive and allowing the Jaguars to capitalize on the momentum. Overall, it was a comprehensive showing by Jacksonville, blending explosive offense with timely defensive stops to secure the decisive win.
