In a decisive matchup in Week 2 of the 2027 season, the Green Bay Packers topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 35-14. This victory was crucial for the Packers as they look to assert their dominance early in the season and maintain momentum in a competitive division. Jordan Love shone brightly for Green Bay, racking up 217 passing yards and tossing four touchdown passes to lead the offense. His ability to connect with Josh Jacobs, who tallied 108 receiving yards, proved pivotal in breaking down the Vikings' defense. Meanwhile, Minnesota's Jordan Mason kept the ground game alive with an impressive 110 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Packers' aerial assault. On the defensive side, the Packers made their presence felt, with Devonte Wyatt leading the charge with three sacks, disrupting the Vikings' offensive rhythm throughout the game. Edgerrin Cooper's two interceptions were key turning points, as they shifted momentum firmly in Green Bay's favor. The combination of timely defensive plays and explosive offensive drives allowed the Packers to pull away decisively, securing a strong win at home.
