In a high-scoring showdown, the New Orleans Saints topped the Green Bay Packers 52-38 in Week 13 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. Both teams entered the game with momentum, but the Saints showcased their offensive prowess to secure the win. Travis Etienne Jr. was a standout for the Saints, rushing for an impressive 148 yards and adding a crucial touchdown to the scoreboard. Jordan Love of the Packers also had a notable performance, throwing for 332 yards and four touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the explosive Saints offense. Matthew Golden emerged as a key target for Green Bay, racking up 189 receiving yards, but the Packers' defense struggled to contain the Saints' attack. Defensively, New Orleans made pivotal plays, highlighted by Trikweze Bridges' interception that shifted momentum in the second half. While the Saints' pass rush wasn't dominant, with only half a sack from Chase Young, their ability to limit big plays and capitalize on turnovers proved decisive. The game turned when the Saints converted Bridges' interception into a touchdown, creating a gap that the Packers could not close.
