In a decisive Week 10 showdown, the Washington Commanders topped the New York Giants with a commanding final score of 59 to 27. With playoff implications on the line, the Commanders showcased their offensive firepower, solidifying their position in the race for postseason contention. Taylen Green led the charge for Washington, throwing for four touchdowns while Kaytron Allen dominated on the ground, racking up 139 rushing yards. Antonio Williams emerged as a key target, contributing 90 receiving yards to keep the Giants' defense on its heels throughout the game. Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart of New York managed to pass for 227 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the explosive Commanders' offense. Defensively, the Commanders made their presence felt, with Leo Chenal leading the team with five total tackles. Danielle Hunter added to the pressure with a sack, but it was Darius Rush's two interceptions that proved pivotal in swinging momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Rush picked off Dart, leading to a quick touchdown that shifted the tide firmly in Washington's favor.
