In a thrilling Week 5 matchup, the Detroit Lions topped the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 38-30, continuing their strong start to the season. The victory was crucial for the Lions as they look to solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Cardinals aimed to bounce back from a rocky beginning. Jared Goff led the charge for the Lions, throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find open receivers. Jahmyr Gibbs was a force on the ground, racking up 105 rushing yards, while Jameson Williams made significant contributions through the air with 97 receiving yards. Together, their offensive prowess proved too much for the Cardinals to handle. The Lions' defense played a pivotal role in securing the win, with Aidan Hutchinson recording 1.5 sacks and Brian Branch snagging an interception that shifted momentum late in the game.
