The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a commanding 26-7 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Jaguars not only improved their season record but also made a strong statement about their playoff aspirations as they continue to build momentum early in the year. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 176 yards and effectively managing the game. Meanwhile, the Patriots relied on Drake Maye's ground game, as he rushed for 79 yards, but struggled to find the end zone. Kyle Williams was the top receiver for New England, logging 44 receiving yards but failing to make a significant impact in the red zone. Defensively, the Jaguars were a force to be reckoned with, highlighted by Josh Hines-Allen's 1.5 sacks and Jarrian Jones' interception that shifted the game's momentum. The Jaguars' defense consistently pressured Maye, limiting his options and contributing to the Patriots' struggles throughout the contest. The turning point came when Jones' interception set up a touchdown that put Jacksonville ahead by two scores, effectively sealing the game.
