In a decisive Week 16 clash, the Houston Texans topped the Philadelphia Eagles with a commanding 30-7 victory. With playoff implications on the line, the Texans secured their spot in the postseason while the Eagles struggled to find their rhythm in front of their home crowd. C.J. Stroud of the Eagles showcased his ability despite the loss, throwing for 202 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Sampson contributed on the ground with 83 rushing yards, while Tank Dell led the receiving corps with 71 yards. However, the Eagles’ offensive efforts were stifled by the Texans’ relentless pressure and scoring efficiency. Defensively, Robert Spillane was instrumental for Houston, racking up nine total tackles to keep the Eagles in check. Jalen Carter made a significant impact for Philadelphia with 1.5 sacks, but the Texans' defense ultimately contained the Eagles’ playmakers. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Texans scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach and sealing a dominant performance.
