In a thrilling Week 1 matchup of the 2027 season, the Cleveland Browns topped the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 33-21, showcasing their potential as a playoff contender early in the year. The victory sets a promising tone for the Browns, who look to build on this success as they navigate a competitive schedule. On the offensive side, Jaxson Dart led the Rams with a strong performance, throwing for 215 yards and two touchdowns, but it was Jeremiyah Love of the Browns who stole the spotlight, rushing for 118 yards and consistently moving the chains. The Rams' Tetairoa McMillan contributed with 89 receiving yards, but it was clear that the Browns' ground game was pivotal in their offensive strategy. Defensively, the Browns made their mark with an impressive performance that included two sacks from Dallas Turner and two interceptions by Devin Moore, which proved crucial in swinging momentum their way. Jake Golday's seven tackles helped stifle the Rams' attempts to rally in the second half, but it was Moore's second interception that effectively sealed the game, thwarting a late Rams drive and solidifying Cleveland's victory.
