In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 38-21, marking a significant victory in the 2027 season. This win not only boosts Denver's confidence but also positions them strongly within the competitive AFC West division. Justin Herbert put up an impressive performance for the Chiefs, throwing for 263 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his playmaking ability throughout the game. However, it was the Broncos' Jonathon Brooks who led the ground attack with 96 rushing yards, while Omari Evans emerged as a key target for quarterback play, racking up 100 receiving yards. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, with James Pearce Jr. leading the charge. He recorded five total tackles and a staggering four sacks, disrupting the Chiefs' offensive rhythm and limiting their scoring opportunities. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when Pearce Jr. sacked Herbert on consecutive plays, forcing a critical turnover on downs that allowed Denver to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
