The Seattle Seahawks topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 34-18, solidifying their position as a formidable contender in the NFC West during Week 7 of the 2027 season. This victory not only boosts Seattle's confidence but also places them firmly in playoff contention as the season progresses. Caleb Williams was the star of the show for the Seahawks, throwing for 248 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his accuracy and poise under pressure. Derrick Henry also had a standout performance, rushing for 130 yards, consistently breaking tackles and keeping the 49ers' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Omar Cooper Jr. led the receiving corps for San Francisco with 79 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Seattle’s offensive firepower. Defensively, the Seahawks made their mark with Brandon Cisse snagging an interception, setting the tone for a dominant performance. The game's turning point came in the second half when Seattle's defense tightened its grip, forcing turnovers and limiting the 49ers' scoring opportunities. Despite solid efforts from Kamari Lassiter and Kayvon Thibodeaux, who combined for 13 tackles and two sacks respectively, San Francisco couldn't find the rhythm needed to mount a comeback.
