In a decisive start to the 2027 season, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Arizona Cardinals 14-0 in a Week 1 matchup that set the tone for both teams. With a strong defensive showing, the Seahawks secured an early lead, leaving the Cardinals searching for answers on offense. Jalen Milroe was the standout performer for Seattle, throwing for 154 yards and a touchdown while also contributing 37 rushing yards. His ability to move the ball effectively through the air and on the ground kept the Arizona defense on its heels, and he connected with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a game-high 76 receiving yards, showcasing a potent offensive strategy. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Bud Clark making a significant impact by snagging three interceptions, effectively neutralizing any potential scoring threats from Arizona. The turning point came early in the second half when Clark's second interception led to a quick touchdown drive, solidifying Seattle's control and shutting out the Cardinals for the remainder of the game.
