In a commanding performance, the Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2027 season with a decisive 37-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams entered the game eager to set a positive tone for the year ahead, but it was the Ravens who asserted their dominance early and never looked back. Lamar Jackson was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 393 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities throughout the game. Isaiah Sategna III emerged as his top target, racking up 221 receiving yards, consistently stretching the field and creating big plays. On the ground, Christian McCaffrey kept the 49ers competitive with 93 rushing yards, but the Ravens' offense proved too explosive to contain. Defensively, the Ravens brought pressure and made key stops, highlighted by Roquan Smith's five total tackles and Khalil Mack's 1.5 sacks, which disrupted San Francisco's rhythm. The game's turning point came midway through the second quarter when Mike Green intercepted a pass, setting up another touchdown drive that extended Baltimore's lead and left the 49ers struggling to catch up. The Ravens' ability to execute on both sides of the ball marked a strong start to their season.
