The New York Jets topped the Miami Dolphins 24-14 in a crucial Week 12 matchup that keeps their playoff hopes alive. With both teams battling for positioning in the competitive AFC, this win was vital for the Jets as they look to solidify their standing in the conference. Leading the charge on offense was Miami's Malik Willis, who threw for an impressive 343 yards and one touchdown, showcasing his dynamic playmaking ability. However, it was Breece Hall's steady ground game for the Jets that helped maintain control, as he rushed for 76 yards and contributed significantly to the team’s offensive rhythm. The Jets also found success through the air, but Willis' efforts kept the Dolphins competitive throughout the game. On the defensive side of the ball, the Jets made a significant impact, highlighted by Minkah Fitzpatrick's two interceptions, which shifted momentum in favor of New York. The turning point came in the second half when Fitzpatrick's second pick halted a promising Dolphins drive, allowing the Jets to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. D'Angelo Ponds' 12 tackles further solidified the Jets' defensive dominance, ensuring Miami struggled to find a consistent offensive rhythm.
