In a commanding performance, the New York Jets topped the Miami Dolphins 31-9 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory not only solidifies the Jets' position in the playoff race but also serves as a statement win against a division rival struggling to find momentum. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offensive charge, throwing for 218 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make plays when it mattered most. Meanwhile, Jeff Caldwell emerged as his favorite target, racking up 93 receiving yards and consistently finding separation against the Dolphins' secondary. De'Von Achane was the standout for Miami, rushing for 74 yards, but his efforts weren't enough to keep pace with the Jets' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Jets put forth a strong effort, highlighted by David Bailey's sack, which disrupted Miami's rhythm at crucial moments. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Jets scored back-to-back touchdowns, quickly shifting momentum and putting the Dolphins in a difficult position. With the Jets' defense stifling Miami's attempts to respond, they never regained their footing, leading to a decisive victory for New York.
