In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Washington Commanders topped the Seattle Seahawks 20-3, marking a significant victory as both teams sought to establish their dominance early in the 2026 season. The win positions Washington favorably in the standings, showcasing their potential as a playoff contender. Offensively, Jayden Daniels led the Commanders with impressive poise, throwing for two touchdowns and keeping the chains moving effectively. Terry McLaurin was a standout receiver, racking up 108 receiving yards, providing Daniels with a reliable target throughout the game. Meanwhile, the Seahawks struggled to find their rhythm, with their top passer managing only 245 yards and a lackluster overall performance. Defensively, the Commanders put forth a formidable effort, highlighted by Quan Martin's seven tackles and Dorance Armstrong's lone sack, which stifled Seattle's offensive drives. Amik Robertson's interception proved to be a pivotal moment, halting a potential scoring opportunity and solidifying Washington's control of the game. The combination of timely defensive plays and an efficient offense ultimately sealed the victory for the Commanders.
