In a decisive Week 18 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Los Angeles Rams with a convincing 31-10 victory, securing their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With both teams battling for postseason momentum, the Seahawks emerged as the dominant force on the field. Christian McCaffrey was a standout for Seattle, rushing for an impressive 126 yards and finding the end zone, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. Meanwhile, Bryce Young of the Rams managed to throw for 165 yards and a touchdown, but struggled to find consistency against a relentless Seattle defense. Khalil Shakir contributed with 69 receiving yards, but the Rams' offense couldn't keep pace with the Seahawks' explosive attack. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Jared Verse recording 1.5 sacks and Tykee Smith adding an interception that shifted the momentum in favor of Seattle. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Smith's pick set up another scoring drive for the Seahawks, effectively putting the game out of reach. The Rams' inability to respond to Seattle's defensive pressure ultimately sealed their fate in this crucial matchup.
