In a decisive opening matchup for the 2027 season, the New England Patriots topped the Philadelphia Eagles with a final score of 28-14. With both teams eager to kick off the year on a high note, the Patriots established dominance early on, setting the tone for what could be a promising campaign. Caleb Williams led the charge for New England, throwing for 303 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Meanwhile, Carnell Tate emerged as his go-to target, racking up an impressive 126 receiving yards.
