The Kansas City Chiefs secured a 31-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With this win, the Chiefs continue to assert their dominance in the AFC, while the Rams look to recalibrate as they approach the final stretch of the season. Baker Mayfield was the standout performer for Kansas City, throwing for 345 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his impressive arm and decision-making under pressure. He connected beautifully with Jameson Williams, who racked up 119 receiving yards, consistently finding space to make big plays. Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground, adding 80 rushing yards to keep the Rams' defense on its toes. Defensively, the Chiefs were relentless, with Sonny Styles leading the charge with nine tackles and Dexter Lawrence II contributing 1.5 sacks, disrupting the Rams' offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Lawrence's sack led to a crucial Rams turnover, allowing Kansas City to capitalize and extend their lead just before halftime. This momentum shift proved decisive as the Chiefs maintained control for the remainder of the contest.
