In a tightly contested battle in Week 12, the Detroit Lions narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears, with a final score of 19-14. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Lions who emerged victorious, maintaining their momentum in the race for postseason positioning. Tua Tagovailoa led the Lions' offense with 177 passing yards, providing the spark they needed to secure the win. Cam Skattebo contributed significantly on the ground, rushing for 66 yards, while Jordyn Tyson was a reliable target in the passing game, racking up 65 receiving yards. The Lions showcased a balanced offensive attack that kept the Bears' defense on their toes. On the defensive side, the Lions made crucial stops, highlighted by Alim McNeill's standout performance, registering 1.5 sacks and applying constant pressure on the Bears' quarterback. The turning point of the game came in the second half when Detroit's defense forced a turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. Chicago's Carlton Davis III led his team with nine tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lions’ defensive push when it mattered most.
