In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears, finishing the game with a score of 28-21. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to bolster their playoff positioning in the competitive 2026 season. The victory for the Patriots not only adds to their win total but also puts them in a strong position moving forward. On the offensive side, Rhamondre Stevenson was the standout performer for New England, racking up an impressive 161 rushing yards, which was pivotal in controlling the game tempo. Chicago's Caleb Williams showcased his talent as well, throwing for 178 yards and two touchdowns, keeping the Bears in contention until the final whistle. Colston Loveland contributed significantly as a target, leading the Bears with 83 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Patriots made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Milton Williams was a force, recording two sacks that disrupted Chicago's offensive rhythm, while Harold Landry III led the team with five total tackles. Despite Dillon Thieneman's two interceptions for the Bears, which showcased the defense's capability, it was the Patriots' ability to apply pressure and make key stops that ultimately sealed the victory, particularly in the game's closing moments.
