In a decisive matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 35-7 in Week 4 of the 2026 season, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. This victory not only solidifies the Chiefs' position as contenders but also raises questions about the Raiders' ability to compete in a tightly contested division. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for three touchdowns and demonstrating his trademark precision. Kenneth Walker was a force on the ground, racking up 114 rushing yards, while Xavier Worthy was the top target in the passing game with 86 receiving yards. This offensive explosion was too much for the Raiders to handle, as Kansas City consistently moved the ball and scored at will. Defensively, the Chiefs were effective in limiting the Raiders' opportunities, with R Mason Thomas registering a key sack that disrupted Las Vegas' rhythm. Nakobe Dean of the Raiders made a commendable effort with eight tackles, but the overall defensive performance from Kansas City turned the tide. The game's turning point came midway through the second quarter when Mahomes connected with Worthy for a touchdown, extending the lead and putting the Raiders in a hole they couldn't escape.
