In a tightly contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Washington Commanders 27-19 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to build momentum, but it was the Colts who walked away with the critical victory, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Daniel Jones was the star of the night for Indianapolis, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Jonathan Taylor added a solid ground game with 63 rushing yards, while the Colts' passing attack found enough success to maintain control throughout the contest. Defensively, the Colts made key plays that shifted the momentum, particularly Charvarius Ward Sr.'s interception, which halted a potential scoring drive for Washington. Although the Commanders' Sonny Styles recorded nine tackles and Dorance Armstrong notched two sacks, it was the Colts' timely defensive stand that proved crucial in sealing the victory. With this win, Indianapolis solidifies its position in the competitive landscape of the league.
