In a tightly contested Week 17 matchup, the Chicago Bears held off the Detroit Lions with a final score of 17-10. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but Chicago emerged victorious, securing their spot in the postseason. Jared Goff led the Lions' offense with 165 passing yards and a touchdown, providing a steady presence under center. Isiah Pacheco was a standout on the ground, racking up 103 rushing yards to keep the Lions competitive throughout the game. Luther Burden III shone for the Bears, accumulating 112 receiving yards, playing a crucial role in their offensive success. Defensively, Montez Sweat was a force for Chicago, recording two sacks that disrupted Goff's rhythm and contributed significantly to the Bears' win. The turning point came in the second half when Sweat's pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing Chicago to capitalize and build a lead they would not relinquish. Jack Campbell's nine tackles for Detroit kept them in the fight, but ultimately, it was the Bears' defensive resilience that sealed the victory.
