In a thrilling Week 16 showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 37-30, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Steelers who ultimately emerged victorious in this tightly contested battle. Bryce Young put on a remarkable performance for the Panthers, throwing for 417 yards and two touchdowns, while Tetairoa McMillan was a standout receiver with 166 yards. However, it was Rico Dowdle's ground game for the Steelers that proved vital, as he rushed for 101 yards, helping to control the pace of the game and keep the Panthers' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Steelers made key plays when it mattered most, particularly from Jalen Ramsey, who snagged two interceptions that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Ramsey's second pick thwarted a potential game-tying drive by the Panthers, sealing the Steelers' hard-fought victory and securing their place in the playoff race.
