In a decisive Week 11 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 41-15, solidifying their playoff hopes as the season approaches its climax. The victory showcased the 49ers' dominant offensive firepower, while the Vikings struggled to keep pace throughout the game. Brock Purdy was the standout performer for San Francisco, throwing for an impressive 307 yards and three touchdowns, effectively controlling the game from the pocket. Deebo Samuel Sr. was his primary target, racking up 147 receiving yards, while Christian McCaffrey added a strong ground game with 87 rushing yards, contributing to the 49ers' offensive onslaught. The 49ers' defense, led by Romello Height's sack, played a crucial role in limiting the Vikings’ scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the first half when San Francisco intercepted a pass, leading to a quick touchdown that shifted momentum firmly in their favor. Minnesota’s inability to respond effectively on both sides of the ball sealed their fate, as the 49ers rolled to a comfortable victory.
