In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the Minnesota Vikings 28-7, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season approaches its final stretch. Buffalo's dominant performance was underscored by their ability to control the game on both sides of the ball, leaving Minnesota struggling to find their rhythm. Leading the charge for the Bills was quarterback Josh Allen, who threw for 174 yards and a touchdown, while also efficiently managing the game. Running back James Cook III had a standout performance on the ground, racking up 112 rushing yards, providing the Bills with a strong offensive foundation. Despite some flashes from the Vikings, particularly Jordan Addison with 84 receiving yards, they were unable to convert that into scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Bills made their presence felt, with Landon Jackson recording a key sack that halted a promising Vikings drive. The turning point came early in the second half when the Bills forced a turnover, allowing them to build a commanding lead that Minnesota could not overcome. With Blake Cashman leading the Vikings in tackles, the effort was commendable, but it ultimately fell short against the relentless Buffalo offense.
